How we met
On a long Toronto winter, at a friend's Diwali party. Dev was visiting from Vancouver. Nina was wondering whether she would ever move back to Kolkata. The party ran late; the conversation ran later.

From The Beginning
Why a Jaipur wedding
Nina's family is from Kolkata; Dev's from Haryana. Neither side wanted to host alone, and both have spent years dreaming of a Rajasthan wedding for their kids. We let them. Rambagh felt like a thank-you to two families that have been hosting each other across continents for as long as we have been alive.

Henna artists, dhol, family games. Children are welcome — there'll be a kids' table.

Wardrobe: Festive evening. Silks, lehengas, sherwanis.
Rehearsed performances + open dance floor. Heavy dinner. Both Toronto cousins are performing.
The Wedding
1:30 PMRambagh Palace · Main Lawn
Wardrobe: Formal traditional. Cream, gold, deep jewel tones.
Pheras at 8:30pm sharp. Late buffet + dessert station after.
Reception

Wardrobe: Cocktail formal.
A quieter, slower evening. Last chance to catch us before the honeymoon.
